Our Story & Milestones

MEV CO., LTD was established in 2022, with its headquarters in Vientiane Capital, Laos.
Starting as an electric vehicle (EV) distributor, MEV expanded into EV charging infrastructure to meet the clean energy era and support the government's policy promoting the use of electric power. We are committed to providing modern, smart, safe, and fast charging solutions—from home chargers to DC Fast Charging station networks—to help drive the country's EV ecosystem sustainably.

Early 2025

Strategic Partnership & MEV Station App Development

MEV established a strategic partnership with one of China’s leading EV charging technology developers, backed by over 18 years of industry experience. Working together to co-develop robust hardware and software solutions, we initiated the development of the MEV Station Application—a smart management platform designed to provide EV drivers with seamless station discovery, real-time charger status monitoring, remote charging control, and effortless digital payments.

End of 2025

First Milestone

Official Launch of Our First Charging Station MEV marked a major achievement by officially installing its first public EV charging station at Chevrolet Laos Showroom. The station features 2 DC Fast Chargers with 4 charging guns, equipped with dual-standard connectors—GB/T and CCS2—to seamlessly support both Chinese and European/Global electric vehicle models.

Mid-2026

Franchise Expansion & Nationwide Network

MEV achieved a major breakthrough by expanding through a Franchise model, strategic partnering with industry leaders such as ADSS Auto Sole and PetroTrade. Concurrently, we extended our EV charging infrastructure to key provinces across the country—including Luang Prabang, Savannakhet, and Champasak—connecting vital travel routes and delivering seamless long-distance electric mobility throughout Laos.

Present & Future

MEV is actively expanding its charging network to cover all major routes across Vientiane Capital and key provinces nationwide. We stand out by offering friendly, accessible, and unified nationwide pricing to ensure fairness and convenience for all EV drivers. Looking ahead, we are exploring and testing high-power 240kW and 480kW Ultra-Fast Chargers to empower heavy-duty commercial EV trucks and drive the future of logistics in Laos.

Driven by a forward-looking vision and deep industry expertise in automotive and clean mobility, Mr. Souksamone Sihathep founded MEV CO., LTD in 2022 to spearhead the Electric Vehicle (EV) ecosystem in Laos.

Recognizing early on that true EV adoption relies on accessible infrastructure rather than just vehicle sales, Mr. Souksamone strategically expanded MEV into a comprehensive EV charging solution provider. Under his leadership, MEV has pioneered nationwide DC Fast Charging networks, developed the digital MEV Station App ecosystem, and forged high-level partnerships with global technology developers and key business conglomerates.

Through his commitment to innovation, reliability, and fair access, Mr. Souksamone continues to position MEV as Laos’ leading force in sustainable transportation.
