A home charger should suit the way you park and charge, as well as the electrical installation at your property. Discuss your requirements with the MEV team before choosing a model.
Start with your vehicle
Check the AC charging capacity and connector supported by your vehicle. A higher rated charger does not necessarily make your vehicle charge faster if the onboard charger has a lower limit.
Check the property
A qualified installer should assess the available electrical capacity, cable route, protection and mounting location. Decide whether wall or pole mounting makes sense for the parking space.
Plan for everyday use
Consider your typical daily distance, parking time and whether the charger will serve one vehicle or several. Request a site assessment and confirmed product specifications before installation.
